PROJECT FILE 02 / Full-stack & data integrity / Live project

Transaction Ledger

Every entry has a consequence.

An account workspace for credits, debits, and transfers — with exact balances and a clear transaction history. Useful on the surface. Careful underneath.

The problem

A friendly financial interface is only useful when the underlying numbers and state changes stay consistent.

What I built

  • Built account creation, UUID lookup, and a responsive account workspace.
  • Implemented exact balance handling, credit/debit processing, and atomic transfers.
  • Connected filtered, paginated history and transfer receipts through shared TypeScript contracts.

Inside the engineering

Exact values, explicit contracts

Shared validation contracts connect the interface and API. Exact balance representation avoids using display rounding as the source of truth.

Receipts and uncertain retries

Transfer feedback distinguishes a committed receipt from an unresolved request. References help identify duplicate intent instead of silently performing it again.

What this demonstrates

Demonstrates full-stack product delivery with data correctness, transaction boundaries, and a readable account history.
